As of this writing, the fastest speed a human being has ever been recorded running is 44.72 kilometers per hour (27.78 miles per hour), achieved by Usain Bolt of Jamaica during the 100-meter final at the World Championships in Berlin, Germany, on August 16, 2009.
Usain Bolt is widely regarded as one of the greatest sprinters in history and has set numerous world records and won multiple Olympic and World Championship titles. His extraordinary speed and accomplishments have made him a legendary figure in the world of track and field.
It’s important to note that the records and achievements in sports are constantly being challenged and improved, and new athletes may set even faster records in the future. However, as of my last update, Usain Bolt’s record in the 100-meter race remains the fastest officially recorded human speed on land.
